SUMMARY:
Mr. Handrock is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in the state of Nevada (PLS 20464) and is a member of the Nevada Association of Land Surveyors.  His education includes: an Associate of Science, McHenry County College, Crystal Lake, IL and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, University of Illinois, Champaign, IL. Mr. Handrock has been involved in the surveying profession for the last 10 years, primarily for Sierra Surveying, Inc.  He has been involved in a wide variety of municipal projects including Sparks effluent pipeline (a 7.9 mile long waterline for irrigation), Honey Lake Water Importation Project (a 28 mile long water line to supply water to the Reno/Sparks area).  Mr. Handrock has worked on numerous road reconstruction projects including Red Rock road, Longley Lane (Reno).  Mr. Handrock has also worked on several projects that required compliance with Tahoe Regional Planning Authority’s rules and regulations, including numerous impervious coverage surveys as well as buoy/ bathymetric surveys on Lake Tahoe.   Prior to entering the surveying field, Mr. Handrock was employed in the quality control field, running 2 different quality control facilities working with both the ISO 9000 and QS 9000 (automotive) quality systems.  His duties included overseeing the continuous process improvement system and quality audits.
